Public Adjuster in Dallas
We handle property insurance claims for homeowners, landlords, condo owners and businesses across Dallas and the surrounding area. Our focus is fire, smoke and large loss claims, including the business income a fire can cost you while the building is closed. Areas we cover include:
- Dallas and Dallas County
- Irving, Garland and Mesquite
- Richardson and Carrollton
- Plano, Frisco and McKinney
- Arlington and Grand Prairie
Dallas claims are often bigger and more complicated than a single house. An office building, a restaurant, a warehouse or an apartment complex can involve several policies, a landlord and tenants, and a business that has to keep paying its bills while it’s closed. We document the damage room by room, read every policy that applies, and present the claim to the insurer with the evidence behind every line.
AllCity Adjusting LLC is licensed as a public adjuster in Texas (license 2615282), and Andy Gurczak holds Texas public adjuster license 2615278.

Fire and Large Loss Claims in Dallas
Fire is the core of our work: house fires, apartment and condo fires, kitchen fires in restaurants, electrical fires in offices and warehouses. The insurer’s first estimate rarely captures the whole loss. What it tends to miss:
- Smoke and soot that spread through shared walls, hallways and air systems
- Water damage from fighting the fire, often in units that never burned
- Code upgrades the city requires before you can rebuild
- Contents and inventory that have to be listed item by item
- Lost business income and extra expenses while you’re closed
- Extra living costs if you can’t stay in your home
In an apartment or condo building, one unit’s fire can damage the units around it, and the building’s policy and each owner’s or tenant’s policy cover different parts of the loss. Working out who pays for what is part of the claim. We read the policies side by side so nothing falls between them.
On large residential and commercial losses, we bring in engineers, hygienists and contents specialists when the claim needs them, so the estimate reflects the full scope of the damage.
Business Interruption and Commercial Claims
When a fire closes a business, the building is only part of the loss. Most commercial policies also cover the income you lose while you’re closed and the extra costs of keeping the business running, but those parts of the claim have to be documented with your own records. We work with your books, your payroll and your accountant to show what the closure cost, and we keep the property claim and the income claim moving together.
How We Handle Your Claim
- We inspect the damage in person and photograph everything.
- We read your policies and tell you what they cover.
- We build a detailed estimate in Xactimate, the estimating software most insurers use.
- We list your damaged contents and inventory item by item.
- We document lost income and extra expenses for business claims.
- We present the claim to your insurer and handle the back and forth until it’s settled.

FAQ: Dallas Public Adjuster
Do you work in Dallas and the surrounding cities?
Yes. We handle claims in Dallas, across Dallas County and in nearby cities such as Plano, Frisco, Irving and Garland, and we inspect the damage in person.
What should I do first after a fire?
Make sure everyone is safe, report the claim to your insurer, and photograph or video the damage before any cleanup. Keep damaged items until they’re documented, and keep receipts for hotels, meals and other extra costs.
Does business insurance cover lost income after a fire?
Many commercial policies include business income and extra expense coverage, but the limits, waiting periods and time limits vary. We read your policy and tell you what it covers before the claim goes in.
My apartment or condo was damaged by a fire in another unit. Who pays?
It depends on the building’s policy and on your own. The building’s policy usually covers the structure and common areas, and your own policy covers your belongings and, for condo owners, parts of your unit. We review both and file the claim against each one that applies.
Does your Dallas public adjuster have to be licensed?
Yes. Texas requires public adjusters to be licensed, and anyone who represents you on a claim without a license is doing so illegally. AllCity Adjusting and its public adjusters are licensed in the State of Texas. AllCity Adjusting LLC holds Texas public adjuster license 2615282 and Andy Gurczak holds license 2615278. You can confirm both through the Texas Department of Insurance license lookup.
Can you help if my claim is already open or was denied?
Yes. We can review an open claim, a low offer or a denial letter and explain your options.
Why You Don't Pay Unless We Get You More?
What Are The Cost For Our Services?

Our goal is that no matter your fee, your bottom dollar will see an increase over and above our fee. In short, Our work is extensive and we will get your more. If we can’t our services are free.
REMEMBER… you do not pay anything out of pocket. The fee is paid our of the total settlement claim payout.
